Practicing the Art of Drawing
Hello again, Simon here
Today I am starting a small personal project, to increase my pencil drawing skills. Normally I would just keep drawing portraits and alike to become better, but I will try to do things differently now, and see how it goes from there.
I am going to practice different parts of the face, so I will take one part, for example an eye, and draw a lot of different eyes, from a whole lot of different pictures. The parts of the face I want to practice are:
MouthDone (in this post)EarsDone (in that post)HairDone (in that post)EyesDone (in that post)NoseDone (in that post)
I will begin with the start of the list, and work my way through, and I will update this post as I go. I hope to get the first series, the mouths, done today.

Update: The mouths are done.
Update 2: The ears are done.
Update 3: The hair is done.
Update 4: The eyes are done.
Update 5: Noses are done now!
I ended up drawing 11 mouths. I would have made 13, but I grew a little bored, which I think made my drawings worse. I am not very happy with my eleventh mouth. But.. Now is the time for revealing, I give to you, my series of mouths:

Not the best scan, but drawings have always been difficult to scan right, so bear over with me. I also gathered the reference photos, so you can tell whether the drawings resemble them or not.

Next time I will draw ears, but I do not know when I will have time again, so I cannot promise a specific date. Hopefully before Christmas.
Please do comment if you have some observations or alike, or if you have anything to say really.
Edit: I will post the facial drawings in separate posts to avoid making a too long and too messy post. I will link to these posts in this post, so they will be easy to find.
