“Source of Inspiration.” Finished on May 16th. The paper size is 42 x 29,7 cm, and it is drawn mostly with graphite, but also with a little coal. The poem says:

“A rose in bloom inspires me
leading my pencil, the brier
Into my room; to there I flee
Into my room; where I am free
to do whatever heart desire
where I endeavor to aim higher
With this effort put in from start
with the use of all my heart
and with the risk being called liar
I will dare to call this rose: art“
