Hello again!

These small painted cards are my latest idea.

I have always wanted some personal “business card” for both contact information and personal messages, and this is what I came up with.

Playing-cards with something unique painted on one size, and then I can write something on the other side of the card.

Hello folks!

I am sorry for the fact, that I am not much active on the creative front anymore. It is not that I am not doing stuff, just not stuff I feel relevant for this blog.

I am soon (February) joining the army, so there will probably not come a lot from me the next four months. How much Ric will bring I do not know.

One of the things I am working on at the moment is a new gaming channel on YouTube. The one you can see in the picture. I have created the channel with my brother, and I am creating the graphics for the channel, such as the background, but also the in-video graphics. So some stuff I do make.

Already I have started a series with Mark of the Ninja (running every Tuesday) and also a few Minecraft tutorials, showcasing the newest snapshots a little. My brother will soon start some Minecraft stuff too - something in creative he says.

There will be a few more tutorials by me for the rest of this month, and the Mark of the Ninja lets play will continue while I am in the military.

Just wished to say what I am up to.

Ho ho hot head - Merry Xmas!

This is one of two Skylanders my brother gets for Christmas “by Santa,” and I thought I would customize it a little with a small Santa’s hat!

I also made something on the other Skylander, but I think I will change it once more, since it is very simple.

I will probably post it here when done.

My project, Color: RED, is finally done!

In this project, I drew a collage of different things which I connect with the color red. The list of things ended up as following:

Apple (the first thing I drew)
Diamond (like in, Hearts, Spades, Clubs and Diamonds)
Heart
Lipstick
Charizard
Lips
YouTube
Superman symbol
Stop-sign
Chili
Plus/red-cross
Dannebrog (Danish flag)
Christmas hat
Seal (those red wax/something seals)
Blood
Lobster

It has been fun to make, though I should have compressed the time period a little more I think. Hope you enjoy.

In my family, we annually have this Christmas-Get-Together in late November. We always make decorations then, and this is my decoration for this year.

Normally I would make a calendar light or something like that, but this time I went for a cave with a small candlelight, trying to make a feel that this cave is in fact the small elf’s home.

TEASER!

Well, hello again.

This is an apple. The first part on my new project “Color: RED,” where I will try drawing the color red in graphite. A little experiment.

The idea is, that I will draw things which I connect with the color red - for example the apple up above. The drawings will probably not be purely realistic. I have a lot of ideas in my head at the moment - one example is to draw a charizard too - but I have nothing settled yet, and old ideas can be trashed for new ones as I go.

I will draw all the “red” elements on one drawing, in a mashup not unlike some of my other recent drawings.

I hope the drawing will not be too long under construction - and that you will enjoy the product when it is done. I am not recording a speed-drawing video this time.

A speed drawing (speed x64), starting with some teeth. I am using graphite pencils, and dark- and light-wash pencils from Derwent for the drawing. Also I used a few Faber Castell pencils. The glove I am wearing is a SmudgeGuard2 (http://www.smudgeguard.com/), to avoid smudging.

Hello guys!

Today I spontaneously got this idea for, what I think is, a really nice simplistic logo. I just had to create it immediately, so that was exactly what I did.

The logo is not for anything specific, but I imagine it could be usable for many different sorts of companies, especially and exactly because of its simplicity.

Also the text typed is just a placeholder put there, because I feel it is a necessity to have this string of text in the bottom. I believe, it sort of evens out the logo, since the symbol by it self is weighted a little toward the right. Though, I do not believe the symbol is weighted too unevenly to be standing alone.

Well, just thought I would share it with you all.

Hello folks!

I am back with a new drawing. This time I started with a branch, and then I begun “branching out,” so to say. It was fun drawing it, and I am quiet happy with it - the rainbow was fun to try make, because normally is in, well, color.

This is almost all of the logo variations I did for the RE:Festival logo, including the one used (“Contrast03”).

My personal favorites where “Arrowish02,” “Colorful03,” and “Inside Shapes02.” The final decision where based on the readability of the logo, meaning the chosen black/white logo is the easiest to fit on different backgrounds.

Hello all!

Recently I have not been posting a whole lot of content. There are reasons for this, of course. I finished high school this summer, and I am now working, which fills up a lot of my time. Besides that, I am working on an upcoming festival in Denmark, for the inhabitants of Funen. (if you are from Funen yourself, or just interested in the project, check out our homepage: http://refestival.dk/ or our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Refestival both are in Danish)

One of my jobs at the festival is to make the graphics. For example I created the logo, which can be seen below. (I will make another post with all the different versions of the logo I created)

Also I made the cover-photo for the Facebook page, shown for your convenience below this text (the RE-part will be covered by the “profile”-picture), and am working on one for the website too. Furthermore I am working on some posters, which I will show you in another post when they are done.

Besides the festival, I have also started a new drawing, which hopefully will be done soon. I am recording while drawing, so there will be another speed-drawing video too.

This is a drawing of Eminem I drew for my sister. The left side is the actual drawing, the right side is the undrawn side of the reference photo (I only drew half the face). These are not my creations. They are made by my aunt (thanks!), and was given to me as a students present, because I have finished High School (a month+ ago, but she only just finished them).

The mug on the left is abstract, and is painted with whatever she felt like doing/impressions. The mug on the right is symbolic, and is for “wind in the sails” for my future.
